Payment Methods

Paying should be the least interesting part of an order. Here is exactly what we accept, who handles the money, when your card is charged, and what to do when a payment will not go through.

The options open to you are shown at checkout. If one of them is not listed there, it is not available for your card or your region.

When your card is charged

Your card is authorised and charged when you confirm the order, not when the parcel ships. A confirmation email follows within a few minutes. If it has not arrived, look in the spam or junk folder before writing to support@doravino.com.

Security

Checkout runs over SSL/TLS encryption and is processed by Shopify Payments, which complies with PCI-DSS standards. Full card numbers and payment credentials are never stored on our servers. We do not see them and we cannot retrieve them.

Prices and totals

Prices on the site are in US Dollars (USD). The order total, including any applicable sales tax, is shown before you confirm. There are no handling fees, no surcharges and no hidden charges added afterwards.

If a payment is declined

• Check that the billing address and postal code match the ones your bank holds.
• Confirm that funds or credit are available on the account.
• Look for a block or a spending limit set by your issuer, which is common on a first online order.
• Try one of the other methods listed above.

If it still fails, your bank can usually explain why in a sentence. For anything that looks like it is on our side, write to support@doravino.com with the order details and we will look into it.
